Residential
For the residential component, Hadley Heights, Michelson Commercial Realty
and Development, LLC will be working with St. Louis home builder
McBride & Son Homes to
develop 48 condominium units and 153 single-family houses and townhouses.
Michelson will be developing and selling the lots to McBride who will then
build and sell the homes.
The new
1500-2500 square foot, three- and four-bedroom home designs are
inspired by many traditional home styles prevalent in the area. Historic
St. Louis brick masonry in rich red, reddish-brown, and terra cotta hues is
the predominant exterior wall construction material. Architectural grade
roof shingles in a variety of colors, painted fascias, soffits, trim, and
eave details finish out the roof elements. Traditional windows and porches
enhance the brick homes and harmonize with
garages and roof shingles to match the homes.
A tree-lined street layout retains a pedestrian friendly
neighborhood character typical of Richmond Heights. A densely planted
landscape buffer separates the residential area from the backdrop of the
retail development.
